The 12″ Exer-Soft Pilates Ball (also known as a Pilates overball or Pilates mini ball) can be used to support parts of the body and increase difficulty in matwork or reformer Pilates, as well as various fitness/physiotherapy/rehabilitation routines. Support can be provided for the lower back, knees, hips, or other parts of the body, creating an unstable surface to increase core engagement. It can also be held between the thighs, knees, ankles, or hands to activate specific muscles and improve posture.

This Soft Pilates Ball is anti-slip and anti-burst, meaning it increases safety by being easy to grip securely, and it will slowly deflate rather than burst if its maximum weight is exceeded. The inflation can be adjusted with the included straw, depending on whether the exercise requires a firmer or a softer ball, or deflated entirely for storage or travelling. The 12″ and 9″ size is our largest and is the most suited to supporting larger muscle areas, such as the lower back; while the 7″ is especially suited to target smaller muscle areas.
